In-line portable water filter. Rated to filter up to 189 litres (50 gallons). Removes greater than 99.9% of Cryptospordium and Giardia.

Activated Coconut Shell Carbon Reduces waterborne chemicals, improves taste and eliminates offensive odors. Mirigard Antimicrobial Technology suppresses the growth of bacyteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew within the filter media.  14 cm (5.5 Inches) long. 2.5 cm (1 inch) diameter.

Q: How is the Geigerrig filter different from other filters?

A: The Geigerrig filter incorporates Aquamira® Filter Technology. This is why we can deliver an effective filter in such a small, lightweight package. The active component in Aquamira Filtration Technology is a proprietary blend of coconut shell carbon. The carbon is ground into a very fine powder with a tightly controlled particle size, blended with polymer, and Miraguard™ antimicrobial, then molded under controlled operating conditions to create a uniformed sized porous filter block. The pores of the filter are formed by the spaces between the carbon and polymer particles. Because carbon itself is also porous, the resultant filter delivers consistently high flow rates at low pressure drops, which means long life, and high flow rates.
