HERE'S WHAT 2011 HAD TO OFFER...........
Saturday 16th: Outside Sports Super D
This is the event not to be missed, compete as an individual or in a team of two or three. Lift access to the gondala trails in an enduro style event. The course route will be announced closer to the day but will consist of approx a 20-30min lap of the Ben Lomond Forest trails will include sections of Hamey's track and some small uphill sections. Perfect for the 5 or 6' travel bike and your drop seatpost.
Sunday 17th April:
Jardines Park Kids Ride: bring the bikes the kids and a picnic.(Poplar Drive, Kelvin Heights)
One for the downhill enthusiasts, from the top of Ben Lomond Trails to the Lakeside.
Friday 22nd April:
Tour de lakes a four day road biking tour event begins in Invercargill heading to Queenstown. More information on Tour de lakes
Saturday 23rd April:
New World tour De Wakatipu: a fun challenging mountain bike event set in the Wakatipu Basin that links two rivers and two lakes.
Sunday 24th Corona Dirtmasters Downhill
Downhill race through the Ben Lomond Forest Trails with gondala access. Practice begins on Friday 22nd with your lift pass for 3 days included in the entry fee. Video of the Dirtmasters
