  • Milford Track  The most famous track in New Zealand.  Advance bookings essential.
  • Routeburn Track    2-4 day hike a
  • Kepler Track  - 2-3 day alpine hike
  • Hollyford Track - Fiordland experience.  Fully guided options available. 
  • Dusky - The ultimate hiking adventure, for experienced hikers only.  Isolated, unmarked track that explores deep into Fiordland.  10-12 day+ hike. 
Local Trails around Te Anau - day walks
  • A day walk on the Kepler (up to 5 hrs) head to the first hut in either direction .  Undulating
  • Lake Te Anau Waterfront Circuit.  Walk around the lakefront, 10k circuit and easy flat scenic hike.
  • Ivon Wilson Park - explore various routes starting at 1-2k up to 5-6k great views, sheltered hiking great for escaping the weather.
  • Lakefront from the Yacht Club to the Control Gates - the start of the Kepler track.  4k flat easy walk. 
  • Manipouri - 10 mins drive from Te Anau Manipouri offers lots of day walk options.
  • Milford Road - begin the drive along the Milford Road, many small walks all signposted lead off from here. From easy flat hikes to full day hikes. 
Fiordland Weather
