Scheduled for Saturday September 5th. The first ever; Jacks Point Trail Run and Charity fun run, Queenstown, is already proving a big hit- with increasing local entries and others from as far away as Auckland, Dunedin and Christchurch. For the First year the event will be capped to ensure that competitors experience Race organizer, Andy Town’s visual of an “enjoyable and fun event”. Andy explains: “I feel many events grow too fast and the competitors experience can be overlooked as organisers struggle to cope to  with the extra work load of unexpected entries”.

  • 7km trail run for the ‘entry level’ off road trail runner
  • 21km half marathon trail run for those wanting a descent challenge.
  • 3km Charity fun event - all proceeds go to the Dog Rescue Charitable Trust , ‘the Trust do an amazing service re housing dogs that have been left abandoned and would otherwise be destroyed’.

There will be heaps of prize giveaways, including a brand new Kids’ Bike
