Reasons to keep biking through winter

Reasons to keep biking through winter.

When the cold weather sets a crisp chill in the air and the evenings get darker, the thought of snuggling up by the fire and staying indoors can seem very appealing. The winter isn’t just for skiing, especially in Queenstown and Wanaka where for most of the season the town stays dry and snow free- a great opportunity to get out on the vast amount of bike trails.

Benefits of biking in winter:

Beat the winter blues: Braving the elements, getting some fresh air and a bit of daylight will do wonders for your mood.

Try Night biking: Put another perspective into your usual bike ride and get a powerful light on your helmet, not only is it an awesome adventure and experience, night riding will improve your overall ability on the trail.
