While classic in design, the new On Cloud 5 has been re-engineered with durable materials and premium tech features to provide an improved fit and even more comfort than ever before. The Zero-Gravity cushioned midsole has been injected with CloudTec® technology for maximum rebound and impact protection, while offering a near-weightless sensation for a light and energetic stride. It's Speed-lacing system locks you in instantly, for efficient on/off when you need to be on the move at a moments notice.

Features

MIDSOLE

  • CloudTec™ A cushioning system used in footwear, based on a structure consisting of hollow rubber profiles, which is only active during landing, after which it becomes firm for an effective kick. CloudTec™ provides a soft landing, powerful take-off and active support for individual foot movement.
  • Zero-Gravity Foam used in the sole of ON brand running shoes. It offers effective cushioning and joint protection and, thanks to its design, provides grip on the ground and protects the sole from abrasion.
  • Updated Speedboard a full length plate that evenly distributes pressure across the Cloud elements. Located in the midsole that stores energy when flexing and gives it back when pushing off, providing a more dynamic run.

OUTSOLE

  • Honeycomb slippattern grips on and off the road.
  • CloudTec rubber gives high energy return and increased durability.

UPPER

  • Antimicrobial mesh
  • Non slip lining holds your foot in the shoe without slipping.
  • Reflective TPU heel-cap lets you be seen at night.
