But when it's needed, it's extremely waterproof and breathable, just like your traditionally heavier and bulkier work-horse rain layer. Unlike a lot of back-up style rain-wear, the Halo series was designed with all the important features you still need including a longer cut jacket, athletic cut, sculpted hood and many more. It packs down tiny into its own pockets when not in use so it'll disappear into the bottom of your pack.
