WorkRide is an amazing new scheme to get more Kiwis on bikes. Employees of organisations that join WorkRide can buy their new ride at Outside Sports at a saving of 32-63%. WorkRide lets you offset the price of your new bike against your before tax income. For employers WorkRide is free to join.
How WorkRide works
It’s called a ‘salary offset.’ WorkRide lets you swap some of your pre-tax income over 12 months to pay for the new bike of your choice. Because you’re able to use money you would otherwise lose in PAYE it makes your bike cheaper to buy. You can also redirect a portion of your KiwiSaver contributions and Student Loan repayments towards your ride.
