The New Adidas Terrex Trail Running and Hiking Shoes

Adidas has launched their new Terrex range of trail running and hiking shoes, and they’re here now at Outside Sports. Look for them at our stores in Te Anau, Queenstown, Wanaka, and Tekapo or buy online.  

The Adidas Agravic Speed Ultra 2 is designed for the extreme demands of ultra-distance trail running and racing, and the latest edition brings you more cushioning, comfort, better grip and extra energy return. 

Looking at the shoe from the bottom up, we have a softer Adidas Lightstrike Pro midsole paired with an exaggerated rocker and energy rods, designed to keep you moving efficiently and comfortably over long distances. 

An upgraded Continental™ Rubber outsole with deeper 4mm lugs gives you more grip for more confident footing over varied terrain. The upper has also been redesigned to provide a snug, secure, and supportive fit with improved stability and heel comfort.  

The Adidas Terrex Agravic TT is an all-new lightweight shoe made for technical trail racing. It gives you the stability and confidence you need for running fast, and in control on challenging terrain. Its broad base delivers a stable and secure ride, and the dual-layer midsole combines Adidas Lightstrike Pro and Adidas Lightstrike+ for optimal cushioning, durability and even more stability.  

A durable, supportive upper, a rock plate for under-foot gives you protection from sharp roots and rocks, and the Continental™ Rubber outsole features a multi-directional lug profile that gives you all traction you could wish for when you’re moving at speed over technical terrain. 

The new Adidas Terrex Agravic 4 was initially developed as a training shoe for Adidas’ top trail runners, but its balance of performance, comfort and protection means it meets the needs of a wide range of runners. The new Agravic 4 features a softer Adidas Lightstrike+ foam, providing more cushioning for long training sessions out on the trails.  

A protective mesh layer keeps your feet safe from trail debris without sacrificing comfort. And a new softer upper provided a better fit and more comfort, while losing none of the stability you need on uneven trails.
