This season, the outer fabric is made using wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum, which uses a tightly woven structure to trap air and improve the efficiency of the insulation. Hardy recycled ripstop makes this jacket a durable choice, while the baffled design – complete with zipped pockets and a brushed tricot lining at the top of the draft flap – brings some street style to the mountains. There are gussets at the underarms, too, which help provide even better arms-up mobility. When the sun comes out, the whole jacket packs neatly away into its chest pocket so that it takes up less room while you're on the move.
