Saola

A very new local Ōtautahi/Christchurch, NZ  brand close to our hearts. They use as many recycled, organic, and bio-based materials as possible. Their shoes are made from recycled plastic bottles, organic cotton, cork, and algae. For example their insole is 100% natural cork and harvested algae foam (mixture of harmful algae and EVA), and their outsole is 20% recycled EVA. They also donate 1% of their sales to conservation, specifically a wildlife trust- Mwalua Wildlife Trust in Kenya.
